Love the idea ID of dual fuel, but Propane costs $4.25 /lb here in Tampa Bay Area. Gasoline is $3.21 / gal. At full load this gen burns ~40 lbs of propane per 24 hrs. At a cost of $170.00 per 24 hrs. Gasoline at full load burns about ~10 gal / 24 per hours at a cost of $33.00 and does not have 5-10% less output. Propane costs 5x as much to burn than gasoline and puts out 10% less energy. That math doesn’t work for me so I just use gas.

Oddly my 2024 Keystone Rv Springdale single axle 20' TT at 3000 Lbs give me near sag (bring the truck down to level) on my 2021 6'-4" box V6 Warlock with the OEM 1" lift and HD rear springs. We got a 49911 WD hitch to bring it up a small amount to support heavier load outs when boondocking. What is even more odd is my max total weight is close with the truck being 5200 and the TT at 3300 loaded.

How to get information for working hosts

This is correct. Our F350 doesn't need distribution hitch. I was told I needed it, and it almost cost us dearly as trailer swayed all over the place with too little tongue weight.

The old awning is dried out and shriveled that's why it comes out easier. Tip to prevent or greatly delay the rolled-up awning from prematurely tearing up like this one (which was very minorl IMHO ): It usually deteriorates from Sun / UV damage. The Sun is a tough weapon. Get any water based latex paint and when the awning is rolled up against the RV, paint that area of it that is exposed to the Sun. Give it a couple of thin coats. White or a light color is better. Will probably have to do this every year or two to keep it from deteriorating prematurely. Doing something like 303 spray has to be done every 60 days, and still isn't as tough as the thicker latex paint sunblock.

Oh, I need one... Im almost dragging on the trailer jack with it fully retracted... But im in an suv with a really low ball.. I just paid cash for a $31,000.00 trailer and I only have $9000 left for a different vehicle if I dont want to use a redistribution hitch. 😂

35 years ago these things didnt exist,if you would have told any old timer hey i bought this special weight distributin tool for my trailer they would have said why didnt you just throw your money in the lake for the fish,or they would have said thats a waste of metal. The trailers years ago were heaver and the trucks were more durable for towing thats when they made trucks.Nowadays you have all these lightweight boxes on wheels and all these stupid people tring to hook up a box with the baby rvs.

Thank you, so much searching. Nowhere else would say that the neutral and grounding go in the same place. I had my camper hooked up a few years ago, but forgot the wiring placement.

I don’t think I would use these with e-bikes as the bouncing around on a bike rack behind a camper is quite extreme, and E bikes way twice as much as regular bicycles at minimum. I’ve been using these brackets for about three years with no trouble hauling to mountain bikes on a Kuat transfer 2.0 RV rated bike rack. I don’t know how sure how long my bumper would survive doubling the weight using two much heavier, E Bikes, as the thin wall tubing of the bumper will likely deform, or crimp, or tear, if you use the typical bolt on receiver hitch, which tend to crush the tube a bit when tightening it up and after a few seasons of hard use. I actually use two kits of these braces, placing one on each frame member on each side . After three seasons, I can see a little bit of denting in the light to bumper from the receiver hitch so the metal of the bumper is still the weakest link in the system. I will be getting e-Bikes in a year or so, and I will be welding on, an actual hitch receiver and reinforcing the bumper the old-fashioned way by welding more metal, or going with a much thicker 3/16 thick square bumper tube.

You buy a camper because you like messing around with a camper, not because you like sitting around relaxing in the outdoors, because when you buy a camper the last thing you'll be doing is sitting around relaxing in the outdoors.

Nice! We wanted to Workcamp but it was hard for us to commit to leaving our remote jobs. We both kind of said if we get fired, that was our plan, but it never happened. After four years on the road, our rig got hit by a freak tidal wave, so we never got the chance to try it. It honestly looks really fun!

How do you deal with campgrounds reporting the total annual value of your RV site on your W-2? For example, if you stayed 16 weeks and the site would have rented for $500 per week, at the beginning of the next year you will receive a w-2 from that campground which will include your total hourly earnings PLUS $8000 income for the fringe benefit of site? (16 weeks x $500 per week site rent free)

My aunt and uncle did work camping in Wyoming after they retired. They would come back home to Iowa in the off months and clean a church to keep them busy. They have both passed on, but I know they loved it.
